We are our brother's keeper

Mark helping John get to the top
the final destination
In my years of living, I have heard this statement “life it’s not fair” and I thought to myself that such statement will not exist, if we knew that we are our brother’s keeper. That means, if we stopped all our evil ways and embrace the will to do good and be good to one another.
I feel that greediness, selfishness and pride are the cause of most evil doings on earth. A man with the intention to just have sex with a woman and after that ending the relationship with her and not caring for her feelings, is a selfish person and will allow for the woman to say that “life it’s not fair to her” thereby making her to want to behave badly to an innocent person in the future, because she feels that men can't be trusted. This is just an example of other evil doings we humans engage in.
Imagine if each and everybody could do their little bid to uplift and help the next person, how would the world be. We all form part of this earth and this is not our final destination, we are just passing bye. So, on our way home, we need to help the next person get there.
One thing we don’t realised is that some of us are not that strong. If you make people’s life unfair, they are bound to do it to some innocent person and that is how the destructiveness circles around and vice versa. Learn to help make the next person’s life fair. Let’s make this world a peaceful and loving place.
I leave you with this quote by George Elliot “what do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?” So, love and do good. For everything you do, there is a reward.

  1. I agree with you. There are very many people in the world who ONLY care for themselves. This is I think largely due to them being hurt and now they wish to repay the hurt to everyone and anyone else.
