Not all who wander are lost

The art inside the pyramid, represents
a person feeling lost because he/she
is afraid of growing up

Most of us know what we want out of life or where we should be heading to achieve our dreams and life goals and we also know what to do to get there, but we allow fear to control our lives and that makes us wind around and around and never moving ahead. It makes us look as if we were lost. The this is we are just wandering around but that hardly means that we are lost, it just means that we are afraid to grow up and become responsible to take the steps necessary to be great.
We all know that to be great in life, one need to work for it. You cannot expect to have a great career or a degree for instance, if you don’t work for it.
At times what happens is this, we fail to realise that we are grown-ups and with that comes the need to be responsible; because of our failure to take the chance to be responsible, we end up wandering around looking for shortcuts to achieve these dreams.
So, it takes us long to realised the facts of life. That to be great, one needs to be courageous and responsible. That way we don’t wander around.
We can wander around but that does not necessarily means that we are lost. It simply means that we are not ready to accept responsibility of things in order to get to where we want to go. I think a little push for such wanderers it’s needed for them to grow up and go for it.

We are our brother's keeper

Mark helping John get to the top
the final destination
In my years of living, I have heard this statement “life it’s not fair” and I thought to myself that such statement will not exist, if we knew that we are our brother’s keeper. That means, if we stopped all our evil ways and embrace the will to do good and be good to one another.
I feel that greediness, selfishness and pride are the cause of most evil doings on earth. A man with the intention to just have sex with a woman and after that ending the relationship with her and not caring for her feelings, is a selfish person and will allow for the woman to say that “life it’s not fair to her” thereby making her to want to behave badly to an innocent person in the future, because she feels that men can't be trusted. This is just an example of other evil doings we humans engage in.
Imagine if each and everybody could do their little bid to uplift and help the next person, how would the world be. We all form part of this earth and this is not our final destination, we are just passing bye. So, on our way home, we need to help the next person get there.
One thing we don’t realised is that some of us are not that strong. If you make people’s life unfair, they are bound to do it to some innocent person and that is how the destructiveness circles around and vice versa. Learn to help make the next person’s life fair. Let’s make this world a peaceful and loving place.
I leave you with this quote by George Elliot “what do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?” So, love and do good. For everything you do, there is a reward.
